Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. In the film and television industry, she's known for her many awards and nominations. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Born and grew up within New York New York. Bassett relocated with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five so that they could be near their mom and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett was a fan of James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play as she was still in high school, and realised that acting is what she was looking to pursue. She attended Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) with a major in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale In 1997, they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in the year 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the major parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
